Suburban manse, more like it. But for 79 cents, no buyer's remorse.

Cass and Christy are at a department store trying to find Christmas presents for Frankie, but they aren't having any luck. Cass nixes both the toy laser guns and the space helmets with FM radios and flashing lights inside. When Christy spots an elaborate dollhouse, she tells Cass that it's perfect. Cass thinks they should come back another time since they have to meet Frankie and Douglas at Douglas and Christy's house and the weather is so bad, but Christy tells him he has to at least find out the price before they leave. When you see something you want, you have to grab it. However, when Cass and Christy were wearing the space helmets, they missed the announcement that the store was closing early due to the weather! Meanwhile, Frankie has arrived at the Carsons' house and is concerned that Cass isn't there yet. Douglas tells her Christy hasn't gotten home yet either, but he's sure they'll be along soon. Frankie agrees, since everyone is driving like snails because of the weather. Frankie compliments the Christmas tree and the vintage ornaments. She has brought a gift for Douglas and Christy: a sheaf of grain she made herself, to bring good luck in the New Year. Douglas has never seen one like it. Frankie tells him she and Christy used to make them by the dozens when they were kids. Douglas thanks Frankie, saying it will be very useful. Frankie says there's something very healing about grain, she thinks, then suddenly makes a face and rubs her left arm, telling Douglas she has this pain shooting up her left arm. Douglas's face is also pinched with pain, because he too has a pain shooting up his left arm...which is why Frankie is feeling pain in her left arm. Thanks to Janie for the scenes.
